Gold is essential in advancing your player’s level or buying nicer things than you have. However, for some people it is a hard task to defeat. Many players have a hard time finding the quickest route to get money. Some kill monsters or some even go and buy gold off of Ebay or such places. In this article I will explain some routes you can go to make money.
This route for making money is for anyone
-Download the latest version of the add on “Auctioneer” from auctioneeraddon.com.
-Open and save the Auctioneer files in the directory “World of Warcraft,” “Interface” and “Add Ons.”
-Login to World of Warcraft. Click the “Add Ons” button at the bottom left of the screen. In the Add ons window click “Enable All.” Click “Okay.” Then enter your server.
-Go to the Auction House (AH) and open an auction window with the auctioneer. Make sure all of the check boxes are checked on the left. Click the “scan” button at the bottom of the window. The add on Auctioneer will scan all of the auctions currently on the AH and record their prices.
-Click on “Search Auctions” in the auction window. Now set your search parameters. Play around with these to see what results you get. A good starting place would be “min pct less = 50,” “max time left = very long,” “category restriction = trade goods,” and “minimum quality = uncommon.”
-Click “Search” and check the list of items on the right. You want to pay particular attention to any with very high “pct” numbers. This tells you that the item is listed far below its normal selling price.
-Mouse over items that interest you. Auctioneer will display a popup window for each item and list its average bid and buyout prices
-Buyout an item that Auctioneer lists with a much higher average Buyout price than it is currently selling for, then re-list it for the average Buyout price.
Another way to make money is by farming gold. Here is how you can do this:
-Go to Crystalvein Mine in Stranglethorn Vale. It’s across from the arena.
-Start killing all the basilisks in site! There are some outside of the mine, but the best farming is inside. These have quick re spawn times and you will keep very busy.
-Keep ALL of the items you loot from the basilisks. Most items are gray items. That’s OK, because after less than an hour of farming this area these vendor items will amount to at least 5 to 7 gold from the vendor! If you’re lucky, Scale Belly will be there and he drops items that can be vended for over 1 gold each!
-Skin EVERYTHING! After an hour of farming this place, you will have about 2 stacks of heavy leather and 2 stacks of thick leather. Sell these at the Auction House for no less than 1 gold per stack.

This place is a mine. So of course it has mining veins. You’ll find iron, mithril, gold, and silver here. These are a nice auction bonus. The mithril sells the best.
These are just a few ways to make money on World of Warcraft. There are many ways that you can make money and many of these ways are not necessarily hard. So before you try killing monsters for days straight or go and buy gold off of Ebay try these two tips I have given you. I can promise you that they will help get you some gold you need.
