I recently got back to playing world of warcraft classic after more than 4 years, now I am planning on getting the Burning Crusades expansion but im wondering, the expansion costs near where i live and im paying monthly just to play world of warcraft like how every one else does. Now will i get charged more monthly or will the monthly payment remain the same?
The monthly fee is not affected by any upgrades that you make to your account. Even if you have multiple characters all on the same account, it does not change the monthly fee at all. You might want to consider upgrading to Lich King between now and the fall season, as there is a third expansion pack coming out later this year. World of Warcraft: Cataclysm – it is added two new playable races…Worgen (Werewolves), and Goblins. Characters will also be able to level to 85, and there will be a lot of new features and great stuff to look forward to.
Monthly charge stays the same with all expansions. The purchase of an expansion is a one time cost.
the payments remain the same every month otherwise you would have people paying like hundreds of dollars depending on how long they play. I thought that it cost more like 15 or 16 dollars though.

it’s always the same monthly price. you’re essentially renting a spot on the server for the month with that payment. the game just allows you to access different stuff
