One of the joys of World of Warcraft is the ability to create a new character and, through the game, allow that character to gather strength, intelligence, charisma etc. By increasing your characters experience points and meeting various thresholds, you will advance your characters level and therefore increase the characters base statistics.
To increase experience points, your character must undertake and complete various quests and battle and defeat various Non Player Characters (NPCs) and game creatures.
This can prove quite challenging to the player who wishes to reach the maximum gaming level and gain access to the additional weaponry and spells available to WoW Level 70 characters.
A WoW character will find quests to undertake within the starting area for their race. There are many different types of quests available including:
Escort Quests – where your character travels with and protects another NPC from one location to another
Item Requirement Quests – your character must locate certain items within the game
Battle Quests – the character must locate and defeat specific NPCs to progress.
The most common type of quest is the Item Requirement Quest, followed by Battle Quests and then Escort Quests. Each type of quest has various requirements and varying levels of difficulties depending on your characters level and player class.
To successfully complete a quest, your WoW character must find the Quest Finish location. The Quest Finish location differs from quest to quest and is generally denoted by a question mark on the WoW mini map.
For the serious World of Warcraft gamer, there are many resources available to assist in the completion of quests. These are located on the Internet and can be found by googling the name of the World of Warcraft quest.
However, it is still necessary for a World of Warcraft character to undertake and complete the number of quests required to advance in the levelling.
